Live Like A Local!

Gabie makes it easy to share experiences about the places youve visited. Discover new places, curate interesting collections, e.g., your list of favorite dive bars in New York, or family adventures in California and share your collections with friends.

Posts to Gabie are associated with a location. Posts can include an image, a badge and a text message with links and hashtags. They may range from neighborhood commentary, special offers from local businesses, historical POIs, or whats happening at the local pub. Its up to you.

Posts can be organized into Curated Collections. Curated Collections are a great way to keep track of places youve been (or want to go). You can create a collection of places based on anything. These can range from Cool Street Art to Family Activities to Things to Do in Paxos. Again, its up to you.

Posts and Collections can be shared with other users. Send friends a post for the latest hot spot in San Francisco or your curated list of Favorite Road Trip Waypoints. As you update your Curated Collection, friends following this collection can see these latest updates.

All posts are public and may be viewed and saved by other users in that area or other users exploring that area using Gabies map. Gabie only asks that you keep posts and comments to her civil.

For geeks: Gabie is a geo-location based personalized media platform providing micro-blogging and catalogue services. All posts are viewable by other users in that area or other users exploring that area using Gabies map view. Posts can be searched by badge or hashtag but not by user name. Users can collect interesting posts for later reference and sharing and can follow Places and Curated Collections.
